Hi there! My name is Lauryn and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. “Maybe you should talk to someone” is a statement many of us have heard at some point in our lives. Life can be filled with challenges and uncertainties: in our jobs, schools, relationships, and even within ourselves. At times, we all need a helping hand and support to navigate rough waters. That is where counseling can help. I began my career working in inpatient psychiatric settings while also gaining skills and experience in the medical field at a local medical hospital. I grew up an Army Brat and returned to the College Station area in 2025, where I now work as a full-time telehealth therapist.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches such as: Person-Centered, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, etc., and work with adults 18+. I am here to come alongside you with an individualized approach to meet you where you are. I have years of experience working with adults in areas such as: trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, relationships, and grief and loss.
The first step is the hardest, but remember, you are not admitting defeat. You are taking back your life and embarking on a new journey. I look forward to assisting you in your goals and on your journey to self-discovery.
